Technology Overview
EnSpectSoft provides internal users a direct connection to the Microsoft SQL Server
database. The inspectors utilize merge replication to work autonomously after which
they can merge updates to the master database. Replication technology copies, distributes
and synchronizes data from one database to another to maintain consistency. By
using replication the inspectors are able to work remotely and synchronize with
the master database using local, wide area networks, wireless and the Internet.
System Requirements
To run EnSpectSoft, you need:
> 2 GHz or faster processor (x86 or x64)
> 2GB RAM (4GB Recommend)
> 2GB of available hard-disk space
> 1024 x 768 or higher resolution monitor
> Microsoft Windows® 7 with Service Pack (SP) 1
To run EnSpectSoft remotely, you need:
Microsoft® SQL Server® 2008 R2 SP1— Express Edition (Microsoft download)
Web and Database Server Requirements
Web
> Web Server running database merge agent
> Microsoft Windows Server® 2008 R2
> IIS 7 or higher
Database Server
> Microsoft® SQL Server® 2008 R2
> SQL Server 2008 R2 Workgroup SP 1 or SQL Server 2008 R2 Standard SP 1
* IIS merge agent and SQL Server can be ran on the same machine
